Conspiracy 365 Premiere at Westfield Parramatta

I’ve had a busy Christmas New Year period — as well as the usual family shenannigans, which were great fun, I’ve been working on the edited draft of the fifth Gemma Lincoln novel, Death By Beauty, in which Gemma investigates the cosmetic surgery industry, tries to work out how to be a good mother to baby Rafi, and a good partner to live-in lover, Mike Moody.   Then Steve, her ex, calls her up with a warning and she discovers that he’s in a terrible predicament.  Of course Gemma will help… but this draws her into a terrifying confrontation…

On the Conspiracy 365 front, the first episode goes to air on Family Movie Channel this Saturday, 14th January, at 7pm and promises to be stylish, thrilling and stunning family entertainment.  If you haven’t got FMC, get it!  Think of the money you’ll save on DVDs all year when you can just watch family entertainment all year round.   I can’t wait to see it get out there and hear what the response is.  I’ll be at Westfield Parramatta  with the young star, Harrison Gilbertson, who has made the role of Cal so warm and credible.  Thank you, Harrison. The other two brilliant young leads, Marny Kennedy and Taylor Glockner bring a depth and beauty equal to the lead character.

I hope you’re all settling back into a really excellent year and I’ll be writing again next week with more news.  Now, I better go and feed the cat.

Ahhhhh….. I so want to go see it! I’m not allowed to get foxtel or austa, no matter how much i beg, because of the price, so now I want a job to pay for it! However I’m a bit too young to start word so there goes my backup plan! :( My mum decided to read the series as well and now she’s super hyped about it to!

Hi Gabrielle Lord, I unfortunately didn’t get to meet you at the screening, but I loved your answers to the questions! I can now totally understand what you meant about not remembering what Cal looked like in your head before Harrison! I thought when I saw Harrison set to play Cal, “That doesn’t look like Cal” but now he is what I think of as Cal! I absoulutely LOVED the movie and now my parents are actually considering fox!

  9. It’s really good to hear from you because writing books is quite a lonely and solitary profession — nice to be reminded that readers are out there reading!

Wow, I never thought about that. I guess it would be great to hear from your readers, than be able to see people enjoying your books, but only on the big screen

Gabrielle lord, I’ve got a question.
To publish a book do you have to get an agent?
Oh, and how’s Winter’s Tale going?
If the book’s about Winter’s mysterious past, would the title A Clearing In The Mist be good? Sorry, that was a bit random :D
